Visit a GP and ask to explore mental health care plan
They will ask some questions and you will complete a survey
Depending on your results you may be eligible for subsidised psychologist sessions
If you are eligible Medicare will usually cover about 50% of the bill.
Then, for every 6 weeks that you are working on a project through Expert360, our MindTheGap program commits to covering a large portion of the remaining cost with another $75.
We believe supporting every consultant doing work through Expert360 to get access to a 6-weekly psych session will help you to stay at your best and continue to do the best project work of your life.
So, should you decide to take up a psychologist, psychiatrist or counselling session after you’ve seen your GP, you will only need to tick the box on your Expert dashboard and the $75 will be automatically added to your next payment.
