Getting Started

Astute Payroll is a web based software that helps manage the administration of

on-hire and contracting businesses. Expert360 uses Astute to support the Payroll onboarding process.

Please Note: All timesheets & expenses will still be submitted through

Expert360. You will only ever need to visit Astute Payroll during your

onboarding process.

Once your employee access is set up by Expert360’s accounts team, you’ll receive

an email that contains your user ID and the URL you’ll need to set up your password

and log into the Astute portal for onboarding.

If you haven’t received this email, you can contact Expert360 at

[email protected] and we will be available to support you as soon as

possible. You can also send us a message on our website through our ‘Intercom’

customer support channel.

Setting Your Password

When you click the URL in the email, you’ll be prompted to set up your password and

security questions for the Astute system.

The password you set will need to meet the Password Requirements listed at the top

of the screen.

Once you’ve entered and confirmed the password, select two security questions

from the drop down fields and enter the answers to each, then click Set

Password.

On future logins, you’ll be able to directly enter your username and password to

gain access to your portal.

If you forget your username or password, click Forgot Password then enter your

username or email address. You will be sent an email containing a link you can

follow to reset your password.

Setting Up Two Factor Authentication

You will also need to set up two factor authentication (2FA) as an extra layer of

security on top of your password.

If you click ‘Set up 2FA Now’, you’ll be taken through the configuration process for

2FA. Please contact Expert360 at [email protected] and we will be available

to support as soon as possible. You can also send us a message on our website

through our ‘Intercom’ customer support channel.

Employee Portal Setup

Once you’re logged into the portal you’ll have to complete the following steps:

Compliance

Expert360 has 3 compliance documents that we require Experts to read and

agree to. These documents are critical to our onboarding process and must be

acknowledged before commencement of a project.

If you have any issues with the documentation, please reach out to the Expert360

Team.

Once you’ve read a document, tick the checkbox to accept the terms of the

document then click Agree. You can download a document by clicking ‘click here

to download’ above the document display should you wish to save for future

reference.

Completed compliance documents can be viewed from the ‘Your Profile’ section of

your portal Dashboard.

Profile

On completion of the Compliance Module, you will be directed to the Profile tab,

which records your personal and employment details.

If there is mandatory data missing, you will see an ‘Incomplete profile’ banner or

a red exclamation icon.

For PAYG Consultants:

Expert360 requires Personal, Bank Account Details, Tax & Super Details in order to

effectively complete onboarding.

For Consultants working through an ACN:

Expert360 requires Personal & Bank Account Details in order to effectively

complete onboarding.

Completion of Setup

After you’ve completed these details, you have now completed your full onboarding

process with Astute. Please jump into the Expert360 platform to fill your timesheets

and invoicing for your project.
