So, what does it take to become an Expert then?
Being a members only network, we individually review every incoming application and follow a Screening Process, allowing us to house the best of the best, as well as ensure our platform is the right place for you and your work goals. Here is a quick guide on what you can expect:
Have your Resume ready to go
To sign up to Expert360, we've created a beautiful, easy online experience where you will create an account and submit some handy info such as your name and email address. After you've created your Account, we ask you for a few details such as your Resume. Ideally a PDF version, alternatively we see a lot of people PDF their LinkedIn profile too. What we use your Resume for is to commence our screening, giving us an idea of your expertise, skills and education as we begin screening. Sometimes we request more information via email if we need more clarity around your background and work preferences. Avoid the wait and have a detailed Resume articulating your expertise and what you are looking for in our 'Preferences and Availability' section.
2. Screening Call with our friendly Talent Community Specialist
Even though we are a technology enabled platform, one of the things we get really excited about is knowing our network on a personal level. During your Application Process, you will be greeted by our Talent Community Specialist who will be looking to clarify your work preferences and sweet spot, as well as ask a few questions about your readiness to work (business structure, working rights etc). We also use this as an opportunity to assess your communication style. A large part of this call is also around next steps and support, giving you insight into our clients and projects, and of course answering all the questions that might be on your mind.
3. Online ID Check (AU Applicants only)
Our promise is talent you can trust. With the wide range of clients now using Expert360, we have introduced a final step in our application process, an online ID Check. This is to verify your identity and ensure compliance with our clients. We send you a text with a link, and it's all done through your mobile device. Have your Drivers License or Passport on standby, as you will need to snap a photo of either one of them. Once your ID Check returns clear (usually within 5 hours of sending) you are ready to be accepted onto Expert360, where you can start browsing open projects and opportunities.
